The rack switch our server sits behind has recently shown signs it is failing. It suffered an outage yesterday which has prompted our datacenter to schedule a replacement for 04/25/2018, Wednesday at 12PM GMT +6.
Reason for Maintenance:
Replacement of switch by Datacenter Technician.
The switch that sits atop our server’s rack has recently suffered an outage and was showing signs of failure. As this switch was failing, it needs to be replaced. We replaced this switch with a new one on Wednesday morning. This type of maintenance typically takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Our server lost network connectivity for a few minutes as datacenter technician removed our network cable from the old switch and plug us into the new switch. No action is required by you. Once the maintenance is complete your server will be behind a brand new switch with network connectivity and reliability back to normal.
