Important: Google Workspace Service Price Adjustment Notification

We hope this email finds you well. We greatly value your continued partnership with TetraHost for your Google Workspace services. We are writing to inform you about an upcoming adjustment in the pricing of our Google Workspace service.

Effective August 16, 2023, there will be a price increase for our Google Workspace service. This decision has been necessitated by two factors: a pricing update by Google and the continuous upward trend in the dollar exchange rate. While we understand that any change in pricing can be a concern, we want to assure you that this adjustment is essential to maintain the high-quality service you’ve come to expect from TetraHost.

Here’s how the pricing adjustment will be applied:

  1. Existing Users: For our valued existing users, the new pricing will be implemented from your upcoming renewal invoice.
  2. New Users: New clients who subscribe to our Google Workspace service after 16, August 2023 will be subject to the new pricing.

We remain committed to providing you with exceptional value and support, even as external factors impact our pricing. Google Workspace continues to offer cutting-edge features and collaborative tools that empower your business to thrive.

Important Announcement : Upcoming changes to G Suite pricing

Google is hiking the price of two of its G Suite subscriptions. It’s the first price increase for the services in a decade, the search giant says and it is competing directly with Microsoft’s Office 365. Depending on which plan you’re on, you could see the cost rise by 20-percent.

G Suite Basic will raise prices from $5 per user per month to $6. G Suite Business will go from $10 per user per month to $12. According to Google, G Suite Enterprise, which runs $25 per user a month, isn’t impacted by the price increase. The G Suite price increases are global and go into effect April 2. Google argues that it has tripled the value delivered in G Suite via artificial intelligence, meeting tools and other features and apps.

A few things to note:

  • Customers on an annual contract will get new pricing when G Suite renews.
  • Current contracts will be honored.

A 20 percent price increase may be hard to swallow for some of our users but it’s also worth remembering that G Suite is now big business for Google. There are now more than 4 million businesses on G Suite, after all, and while some of them are surely on enterprise plans with a price point their teams negotiated privately, the vast majority of them are surely on the standard monthly or annual plans.
