How we compare

Every host says fast, secure and supported

Those words cost nothing to print. What separates hosts is what the words turn out to mean once you have paid. Below is what TetraHost includes as standard, and next to each one the question worth putting to any host you are considering — including us.

Support

Real engineers on the desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Average first reply on a ticket is about ten minutes, in English or Bangla. Not a call centre reading from a script, and not a bot.

Ask any host

Who answers at two in the morning, and what is their average first reply time — not their target, their average?

Speed for Bangladeshi visitors

Our Dhaka network peers with BDIX, so traffic between a local visitor and your site stays inside Bangladesh. Measured from Dhaka, that is 5–15 ms against 40–60 ms to Singapore and 200–300 ms to the USA. Ten requests on a page load and the difference is most of a second before anything renders.

Ask any host

Which country will my site actually sit in, and what is the round-trip time from Dhaka? A "Bangladeshi" host routing through Singapore is a different product.

What is included

Imunify360, CloudLinux account isolation, daily JetBackup and free SSL come with every hosting plan. NVMe storage throughout. MailChannels relay on hosting and reseller plans. None of it is an upsell at checkout.

Ask any host

Which of these appears as a paid extra once I reach the basket — backups, SSL, malware scanning, isolation?

Moving in

Free, and done by our engineers rather than by you. We move files, databases, email and DNS, you check the site on our servers, then traffic switches with no downtime. Most migrations finish inside 24 hours.

Ask any host

Is migration free, and who does the work? "Free migration" sometimes means a control-panel tool you run yourself, and sometimes means a queue.

Paying

Billed in Taka. bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz, BRAC Bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. No card required if you would rather not use one, and no exchange rate moving your invoice each year.

Ask any host

Can I pay in Taka without a card? An invoice in dollars is a price that changes even when the host's price does not.

Staying, and leaving

No setup fees, no minimum contract, and a 30-day money-back guarantee on every hosting plan. There is no first-year teaser rate here — you renew at the standard price rather than an inflated one. If you do leave, we do not make it difficult.

Ask any host

What does year two cost, in writing? And what happens if I want to move away — is there a fee, a lock, or a wait?

Every figure above is stated elsewhere on this site and we will stand behind it. Latency figures are round-trip times measured from Dhaka and vary with your ISP and route. We have deliberately not written a column describing what other hosts do — we cannot verify their side, and a comparison you cannot check is not worth reading.

Being honest about it

Where we are not the right answer

A comparison that only flatters the author is an advertisement. Three cases where somebody else will serve you better.

You need dozens of global regions

We run four locations. If your audience is spread across continents and you need edge presence in twenty of them, a global platform is the right tool and we will say so.

The cheapest possible price is the whole decision

There is always a cheaper first year somewhere. We are not built to win on that number, and we would rather tell you now than have you find out at renewal.

You want a contractual uptime SLA with penalties

We publish 99.9% and we answer in about ten minutes, but we do not sell a credit-backed SLA. If procurement needs one on paper, ask us before you buy rather than after.

The quickest way to check any of this is to make us prove it.

Open a ticket before you buy and time the reply. Or let us move your site for free and watch what happens — there is a 30-day money-back guarantee behind it either way.
