The rules that apply when you host with us — written to be read, not skimmed past.
These terms govern your use of hosting, domain, email and related services supplied by TetraHost (Trade License #0915636, Dhaka City Corporation). By ordering or using any service you accept these terms. Please read them before purchasing.
You must provide accurate, current contact information and keep it up to date; we rely on it for renewal notices and urgent service alerts. You are responsible for keeping your passwords secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Services are billed in advance, monthly or yearly according to the plan you select. Invoices are issued before the due date and services renew automatically unless canceled. Non-payment may result in suspension and, after a further grace period, deletion of the account and its data. There are no setup fees on our standard plans, and prices are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka with any applicable VAT shown at checkout.
Hosting packages include a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of first purchase. Refunds cover the hosting fee only. Domain registrations, SSL certificates, Google Workspace licenses and other third-party products are non-refundable once purchased, because those costs are paid to registries and vendors on your behalf. The guarantee applies to first-time purchases, not renewals.
You may not use our services to host or transmit material that is illegal under Bangladeshi law, infringes intellectual property, contains malware, facilitates phishing or fraud, or is used to send unsolicited bulk email. Running open proxies, participating in denial-of-service activity, or attempting to breach the security of any system is likewise prohibited. We investigate reports of abuse and may suspend services where we find clear evidence of a violation.
Shared hosting resources — storage, bandwidth, memory, CPU and entry processes — are allocated per plan and enforced at server level by CloudLinux. Where "unmetered" bandwidth is offered, it is intended for normal website traffic; sustained use that degrades service for other customers may require an upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server. We will always contact you and discuss options before taking action.
We take daily backups as a courtesy and a safety net, and you can restore from them yourself through cPanel. However, you remain responsible for keeping your own independent copies of your data. We are not liable for data loss, and we strongly recommend maintaining an off-site backup of anything you cannot afford to lose. You retain ownership of all content you upload.
We guarantee 99.9% network uptime, measured monthly and published on our public status page. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where practical and is excluded from uptime calculations, as are outages caused by your own applications, third-party services or events beyond our reasonable control.
Domain registrations are subject to the rules of the relevant registry, including ICANN policies and, for .bd extensions, the requirements set by BTCL. You are responsible for supplying accurate registrant information and for renewing on time. Domains that expire may enter redemption periods with additional registry fees, which we pass on at cost.
We may suspend or terminate services for non-payment, breach of these terms, or activity that endangers our infrastructure or other customers. Except in urgent cases we will contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. You may cancel at any time from the client area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service during the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may amend these terms; the revision date above shows when they last changed, and material changes will be notified by email or on the website. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka.
