Our servers run cPanel & WHM 138, the current release. It is the biggest change to the panel in years — a second interface, an assistant that answers in plain language, and the ability to rename a domain without rebuilding the account.
Meridian interface
A second cPanel layout built around jobs rather than icons, with workspaces for Websites, Email, Files, Databases, Security and Performance. It runs alongside the classic theme — switch to it, or back, whenever you like.
AI Assistant
Ask cPanel a question in plain English and get an answer grounded in cPanel's own documentation, with the steps to fix it. It can make simple changes such as creating a mailbox, but only after you confirm each one. Opt-in, and still early access.
Sitejet AI
Describe your business in a sentence or two and Sitejet generates a finished draft site. It opens straight in the Sitejet Builder, on the same account, so you edit and publish without moving anything.
Rename a domain
Primary, addon and parked domains can now be renamed in place from Domains › Domains. Rebranding or fixing a domain typed wrong at signup used to mean a ticket and an account rebuild. Now it does not.
Control over forwarded spam
Exim can now be told exactly what to do when a forwarded message is flagged as spam. Quietly passing spam along is one of the fastest ways for a mail server to lose its reputation, and this closes it off.
PHP error logs via the API
Error logs can now be listed and read through cPanel's API, so a deploy script or a monitoring tool can pull them without needing shell access on the account.
Meridian and the AI Assistant are optional and off until you turn them on — nothing about your existing account changes if you never do. The assistant is in early access, so treat its answers the way you would treat any first release. cPanel also shipped a reissue tool for the short-lived certificates sold through its own store; the free AutoSSL certificates on your account renew automatically as they always have, so there is nothing for you to do there.

Yes, unlimited mailboxes on your own domain, with webmail, forwarders, autoresponders and spam filtering. Outbound mail is relayed through MailChannels, which protects deliverability.
Does cPanel handle backups?
JetBackup is integrated into cPanel on our servers. You can restore a file, a database or a whole account yourself, from daily restore points, without opening a ticket.
Which cPanel version do you run?
cPanel & WHM 138, the current release. Running an outdated control panel is a security risk, so we do not defer updates.
What is Meridian, and do I have to use it?
Meridian is the new cPanel interface introduced in version 138, organized around the jobs you actually do rather than a wall of icons. It is entirely optional. It runs alongside the classic interface, you switch to it when you want it and switch back whenever you like, and nothing you have already set up changes either way.
Is there an AI assistant in cPanel?
Yes, from version 138. It answers questions in plain language using cPanel's own documentation and walks you through fixes step by step. It will make a simple change, such as adding an email account, only after you confirm it. It is opt-in and still in early access, so it stays off until you turn it on.
Can I run Node.js or Python from cPanel?
Yes. The Node.js and Python application managers are enabled, and you choose the runtime version per application. For PHP you can pick any version from 5.5 to 8.5, and Laravel runs with Composer and Git from cPanel Terminal.
